Wedding Ceremonies

I have been a dedicated marriage celebrant for the past 3 years. I am a member of the Association of Authorised Marriage Celebrants Australia Inc. (AACA) - a national body of professional celebrants and Australian Marriage Celebrants Inc  (AMC).

If you are looking for a cost effective, small wedding – consider the options below:

Quite often couples may wish to have a quiet, legal ceremony with just 2 witnesses, or perhaps only have their parents and siblings in attendance. This is still a beautiful event and the advantage to you, is that you can have the legalities conducted in a personalised manner at your home, or my home, if required.

You are welcome to hold your ceremony at my home for small groups of up to 6-8 guests at no extra charge. My home is nestled in North Rocks, a beautiful natural bush area, and I have an undercover area should the weather turn bad on the day. I can also provide champagne and finger food if required for a small extra charge.

Wedding Ceremony Rates

I am an experienced, professional celebrant and offer reasonable rates for both extravagant and intimate ceremonies. I do not have a set fee, as I feel different couples have different requirements, therefore my charges will vary.

As a guideline, the N.S.W. Births Deaths & Marriages Registry charges a lot more for just a basic  "registry style" wedding.

Services Included:

Pre-wedding:

  • Initial meeting with you at your home or mine
  • Provide fee estimate for wedding services with no hidden charges
  • Review all legal documents ie: Birth Certificates / Passports / Death Certificates / Divorce Certificates etc
  • Complete and accept your Notice of Intended Marriage
  • Assist with Fiancee Visas
  • Discuss range of ceremonies
  • Discuss and provide guidance for your own personal vows
  • Compose your wedding ceremony to suit your particular style - individually tailored to you, whilst adhering to the Australian Marriage Act 1961
  • Phone and email contact throughout preparation
  • Ensure everything is to your liking prior to the ceremony as well as obtaining your approval of final draft of your ceremony

Booking Agreement Terms:

  • Deposit of at least $50.00 upon acceptance of booking (non-refundable)
  • Balance payable at least 7 days prior to ceremony

Wedding Day:

  • Arrive onsite to set up at least 1 hour prior to ceremony at venue of your choice
  • Set up area at my home for your ceremony, including seats, tables, champagne and finger foods after ceremony if required for mini-wedding
  • Professionally conduct your wedding ceremony - complete with PA system (if needed), tables with white cloths and special pen set for signing of certificates
  • Provide keepsake copy of your written wedding ceremony in folder plus a gift from me to the bride and groom

Post Wedding:

  • Lodge all signed certificates with the N.S.W. Registry of Births, Deaths and Marriages
  • Provide follow up form for your valuable feedback
